Hi – somehow I got to your blog when I typed in help with potty training. I love love the idea of the “competition”. I have run a daycare for 16 years and right now how two stubborn little two year olds. We have been in pull ups for some time. I’m ready to end that! The idea of competition potty training never entered my mind! I’m starting it today. I also read about your speech issues. I take care of a three year old and a two year old, amongst others, who are having some speech probelms. I use speechtails.com to help. I lucked onto the site about 6 months ago and we love it! It is very engaging and has helped a ton.
I’m going to look back to see how your potty training “sport” goes!

The Glen Iris 5K is beautiful!! You should do it. We did it several years ago, and I’ve always wanted to do it again, but never seem to be free that day. Sadly, once again, this year I have to work that day and won’t be able to run it. Maybe Joe will run it with you though!

Not that I’m quite there yet, but try a jogging stroller for field activities. It gives you a place to dump some of your stuff (keys, cell, water), pushes AMAZINGLY EASY on rough terrain, and is there ‘just in case’ someone (or sometwo) don’t want to walk anymore.

What are the hours of operation at the Pretzel Buffet? Do they serve adults?

Seriously though, you didn’t mention how insane daddy was by trying to walk 3 kids that barely took any nap to the children’s concert many blocks away. Made it a block before one tantrum lead to another. Glad all of our neighbors decided to sit out on the porch tonight to witness the grand display. And passerbys, it is not a good idea to try to ask screaming kids or their frazzled dad questions. Yes, they are twins. No they aren’t triplets. No Stella doesn’t want to sit in the wagon. Yes, we need to get going. Fun times.
