Thanks for the update! I was just thinking yesterday, Melisa and Jason haven't updated their blog lately, I wonder how the girls are doing? It sounds like things are going well! Lucy certainly seems to be ahead of the game in terms of development! I see 2-year-olds in clinic who definitely don't do all the things that she does. And as for her language development, the best way to develop language in kids is to talk to them and read to them. It's really that simple. You don't really need to "teach" them to talk...they just learn by example! Reading, singing, having a conversation with them (even if its a bit one-sided) are all great things to do.

How cute to hear about how much they all three love each other! I can't wait to meet Zoey and Stella one of these days. My friend has identical twin girls who are 2 1/2 now, and she was just telling me that when one of them is crying at night in their room (which they share) the other won't wake up...until mom or dad takes the crying one out of the room. Then the other one is up instantly and crying, as if she can sense that her sister is no longer as close to her as she is supposed to be. The connection between siblings that spend 8ish months in such an enclosed space is really fascinating, but I guess not that surprising.

Anyhoo, glad to hear things are going well. It makes me excited to think about babies of my own....someday. Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
